Doctor of Medicine (Oviedo). Master in Disasters and Emergency Medicine. Medical specialist in Family Medicine. He has been working in the last 15 years as Medical Doctor in different Emergency Medical Services in Spain (currently in SAMU-Asturias), with clinical and planning expertise. He is the coordinator of the Mass Casualty Incident and Disaster Response working group in EMS in Asturias. He is currently also Associate Professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the Department of Medicine of University of Oviedo (Spain) where he coordinate the Unit for Research in Emergency and Disaster (UIED).
