Dr Ourania Kolokotroni, B Med. Sci. BMBS, PhD, MRCPCH
Dr Kolokotroni holds a BSc in Medical Sciences and a Medical degree from the University of Nottingham UK (BM, BS). She also holds a PhD in Epidemiology/Public Health from the Department of Health Sciences, Cyprus University of Technology.
Her research interests include the environmental determinants of respiratory and allergic diseases in children (including vitamin D) and the association of early life exposures such as nutrition with the development of chronic diseases in adult life. She is also involved in the work of local NGOs who develop and design health promotion activities for pregnant mothers and young children
Ourania Kolokotroni is currently Clinical Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Nicosia Medical School where she chairs the Department of primary Care and Population Health.
